Everyday Menus: Gruyere Ham Sandwich
I love my George Foreman Grill. It's perfect for grilling boneless skinless chicken breasts, fish fillets, and vegetables, and it makes the best grilled sandwiches. Gruyere Ham Sandwich is one of my favorites. You can use your favorite cheese, but do try it with the fresh basil leaves; the flavor is spectacular! Serve the sandwich with a variety of melons dressed with Honey Lime Fruit Salad Dressing, celery strips, and potato chips. For dessert, Go Fish Cookies are a fun and tasty treat.
Great Grill Out!
Today's exotic recipes include Laura Dolson's Five Spice Chicken, a Chinese chicken recipe that's great on the grill, but works in the oven, too. The combination of spices is very aromatic. And Boneless Chicken Thighs in Honey-Soy Marinade, from Giora Shimoni, About’s Guide to Kosher Food, who says: “Everyone in our neighborhood in Israel knows to call E.T. with marinade questions. I like E.T.'s Honey Marinade best on boneless chicken thighs (pargiot in Hebrew), but E.T. says this marinade works well on any poultry.”
