Sunday June 22, 2008
I'll bet that you think of your crockpot as a winter appliance, right? Well, these recipes will prove that the crockpot deserves to get a workout in summer too. You can make ingredients for main dish salads, great side dishes for grilled meals, appetizers, and a killer chocolate sauce for ice cream sundaes. Yum.

Hi Linda,

I just noticed an error (I think) on the recipe for Chicken Tortellini Salad (http://busycooks.about.com/od/maindishchickensalads/r/chickentorsalad.htm).

It calls for “12 cup chopped fresh basil leaves”. I’m guessing it should be 1/2 cup. I’m going to make it today (sounds good) and will use the smaller ammount. :-)

Thanks
