Hot Water Pastry

Everyone should know how to make a pie crust. Many people are intimidated by the thought, but it's really quite easy. This recipe is simple and foolproof because it lets you break the rules! Hot water is mixed with shortening (yes, it's possible) until fluffy, then flour is added until a dough forms. The crust is flaky and tender and perfect every time. Try it!
