With a skillet, a spoon, and a burner, you can make some delicious and easy meals in minutes. In fact, with an electric skillet, you don't even need a stove! Pasta and rice are really excellent cooked this way; they absorb lots of flavor from the other ingredients. There are only two tricks to getting the best results from your skillet; make sure to stir often and thoroughly, vigorously scraping the bottom of the pan, and carefully follow the directions for covering the skillet and regulating the heat.

Using pasta mixes, frozen vegetable combinations, and rice mixes saves time and allows you to add more layers of flavor to your skillet meals. Feel free to substitute your favorite ingredients and flavors in these easy recipes. And be sure to print out my Mix and Match Skillet Meals chart for the basic essentials of these easy meals, so you can invent your own recipes.
