This wonderful recipe for Beer Cheese Soup can be kept warm in a 3-1/2 to 4 quart crockpot if you stir it frequently. Top with cheese flavored popcorn, tiny goldfish or other cheesy crackers, or croutons.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup minced celery
- 1 cup minced carrots
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups half and half
- 10 oz. bottle beer (non alcoholic works just fine)
- 10 oz. can condensed chicken broth
- 3 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- white cheese popcorn
