Appley Kielbasa

User Rating 4.5 Star Rating (4 Reviews)

Serve this super easy crockpot appetizer recipe at the start of a hearty fall meal. You can use any fully-cooked sausage in place of the kielbasa if you'd like. If you'd like to make kielbasa at the last minute, make Stovetop Apple Kielbasa.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 7 hours

Total Time: 7 hours, 5 minutes

Yield: 12 appetizer servings

  • 2 lbs. fully cooked kielbasa sausage
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chunky applesauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Cut kielbasa into 1" pieces and combine with brown sugar, applesauce, mustard, and garlic in 3 quart crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until thoroughly heated.

If you have a new hot cooking crockpot, cook on low for 4-6 hours until hot.

It was a hit!, Guest Sabnina

I tried this recipe and took it to a family gathering. I doubled it and used the crockpot. I got many compliments on it! It was so easy! I'll definitely make it again!
