Purchase a plastic toy spider and place it on this dip for a great accent for a Halloween party.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 6 oz. can tiny shrimp, drained
  • 1 cup cocktail sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. milk

Preparation:

In medium bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in 1/4 cup mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in shrimp and spread in a circle on serving plate.

Spread cocktail sauce evenly over cream cheese mixture, leaving a 1" border of cream cheese mixture uncovered. In small bowl, combine 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise and 1 Tbsp. milk. Place in small plastic bag, cut a tiny hole in one corner of the bag, and pipe concentric circles over the top of the cocktail sauce.

Using a toothpick or knife, draw through the white circles from the center to the outside, then the outside to the center, alternating directions, forming a spider web. Refrigerate until serving time. If you really want to be gross, you can decorate this with currants or raisins to look like dried up bugs caught in the web. Serves 8
