- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
The cut of meat is most important in this recipe. Make sure you are buying a chuck steak, cut very thick.Slice the onion thinly and place in roasting pan. Place the steak over the onions and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover tightly with foil and bake in a 275 degrees oven for 6 hours. That's it! Serves 8-10
