With this simple recipe, you can be away all day and come home to a fabulous and hearty dinner.

Cook Time: 11 hours
Ingredients:
- 4 lb. lean top round beef roast
- 3-4 onions, sliced
- 4-5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 6--8 potatoes, peeled and chunked
- 3-4 carrots, peeled and chunked
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup burgundy wine or beef stock
Preparation:
Trim fat off of roast. Place vegetables in bottom of crockpot. Place beef roast on top. Sprinkle soup mix or boullion over all. Pour wine or stock over everything. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 10-12 hours. Skim fat from juices and serve with beef and vegetables. 8-10 servings
