Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen broccoli and carrot mix
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb. boneless beef top round steak
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. tabasco sauce or hot pepper saucxe
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation:
Combine oil, onion, and garlic in 2-quart microwave-safe casserole. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes until onion is crisp-tender.
Slice beef into thin strips and add to dish. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes until beef is no longer pink, stirring once during cooking time.
Combine water, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce and cornstarch in small bowl, stirring well with wire whisk to blend. Add to beef mixture and stir to combine.
Microwave, uncovered, on high for 2-3 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring once during cooking time. Add the cooked broccoli and carrots and microwave, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes longer or until mixture is thoroughly heated. Let stand 3-5 minutes before serving. 3 servings
