Irish Coffee

Serve this simple hot drink at the end of your St. Patrick's Day meal.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Hot coffee for four
  • 1/4 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 1/4 cup whiskey
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • pinch cinnamon

Preparation:

Brew coffee while preparing other ingredients. Divide Irish cream liqueur, whiskey, and sugar among four large coffee mugs.

In small bowl, beat whipping cream with powdered sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon until stiff peaks form.

Pour coffee into the four coffee mugs and stir gently to mix. Top each with a dollop of the whipped cream and serve. Serves 4
