Oatmeal bread is so delicious toasted, slathered with butter and honey.

Total Time: 55 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1-3/4 to 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 tsp. active dry yeast
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in bread pan, using least amount of liquid in the recipe. Select Medium Crust setting and press Start. Observe the dough as it kneads. After 5-10 minutes, if it appears stiff or if your machine sounds as if it's straining, add more liquid 1 Tbsp. at a time until the dough is smooth, soft, and slightly tacky to the touch. Remove bread from pan after baking ends and cool 1 hour before slicing.
