Baked Crisp Tostada Shells

Baked Crisp Tostada Shells is an easy way to make the base for tostadas or taco salads in the oven.

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 flour or corn tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • salt to taste, or chili powder

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Brush the tortillas lightly with the oil and sprinkle with salt or chili powder, if desired.

Place in single layer on two cookie sheets. Bake for 5 minutes, then turn tortillas, rearrange cookie sheets, and bake for 3-6 minutes longer until the tortillas are crisp and light brown.
