Peanut Butter Mousse Brownies are a fabulous quick and easy dessert recipe made of plain brownies topped with a creamy and rich mousse.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 (13" x 9") pan of brownies, cooled
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preparation:
Prepare brownies and cool completely. In large bowl, beat cream cheese with peanut butter until smooth. Alternately add powdered sugar and half and half, beating until smooth; beat in vanilla.
In small bowl, combine whipping cream and 2 tablespoons powdered sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Fold into peanut butter mixture and immediately spoon and spread over brownies. Chill for 2-4 hours until set. Serves 16
