White Chocolate Swans

By Linda Larsen, About.com

These beautiful little white chocolate swans are the perfect Christmas treat - or use them for a wedding.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 11 oz. pkg. vanilla milk chips
  • decorator frosting

Preparation:

Copy swan pattern and darken outline with pen, if needed. You should be able to place a sheet of waxed paper over the pattern and easily see it through the paper.

Place all but 1 Tbsp. vanilla milk chips in microwave safe bowl and melt on medium power for 2-3 minutes, stirring twice during melting time. When chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stir in reserved 1 Tbsp. chips and stir constantly until melted and smooth.

Pour melted chips into a heavy duty plastic bag and snip a tiny corner. Pipe the chocolate onto the waxed paper placed over the pattern, making sure that the head and neck are sturdy.

Let stand until hardened (you may need to refrigerate the swans briefly to harden), then decorate with decorator icing. You can use these swans to decorate a cake or a cookie (attach with a bit of icing), or use as favors. Makes about 14 swans
