Chicken Stroganoff

This easy recipe uses beef stroganoff sauce mix to make it simple.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3-1/2 cups water
  • 1-1/2 oz. pkg. beef stroganoff sauce mix
  • 3 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation:

In heavy skillet, cook chicken tenders, onion and garlic in olive oil until chicken is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Add water, sauce mix and noodles and mix well. Bring to a boil and stir. Cover, reduce heat to medium low, and cook 6-8 minutes until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.

Add sour cream and mix well. Cook and stir just until heated; do not boil. Serves 4
