Deviled Chicken Breasts are spicy and juicy. A 'deviled' recipe is just another term for spicy. You control the heat! If you like spicy foods, add more crushed red pepper flakes, or layer on more flavor by adding some cayenne pepper.

Total Time: 35 minutes
Yield: Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup Dijon mustard OR yellow mustard OR grainy mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 cups plain croutons
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In shallow bowl, combine butter, mayonnaise, mustard, and crushed red pepper flakes. Place the croutons in a heavy duty plastic bag and crush into fine crumbs.
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dip chicken in mustard mixture, then place in crouton crumbs. Press firmly so crumbs coat chicken.
Place chicken on wire rack in jelly roll pan. Bake for 20-26 minutes until chicken registers 160 degrees F on a meat thermometer.
