The flavor and hotness of salsa you choose for this simple recipe will determine the hotness of the completed dish. Serve it over hot cooked rice.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 lbs. chicken drumsticks
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 12 oz. jar chunky salsa

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken pieces in 2 quart baking dish and top with onion slices. Pour salsa over all and bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes until juices run clear and chicken is thoroughly cooked, basting occasionally. 4 servings
