Peanut Butter Brownie Trifle

You'll need Peanut Butter Brownies and another square pan of regular brownies for this fabulous trifle recipe.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 (9" x 9") pan of brownies, baked and cooled
  • 1 (9" x 9") pan of peanut butter brownies, baked and cooled
  • 1 (3-ounce) package chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge ice cream topping
  • 1 cup chocolate covered peanut candies

Preparation:

Cut both pans of brownies into 1" cubes; cover and set aside.

In medium bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, and 1/4 cup peanut butter; beat until smooth. Cover and refrigerate.

In medium microwave-safe bowl, combine butter with brown sugar; microwave for 1 minute, then stir and microwave for another minute until mixture bubbles. Stir in 1/4 cup peanut butter and set aside.

Beat cream with powdered sugar in medium bowl until stiff peaks form. Whisk this into the brown sugar mixture.

In large glass bowl, layer both kinds of brownies, chocolate pudding mixture, peanut butter pudding mixture, and chocolate fudge sauce. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving. Sprinkle with candies and serve. Serves 12-16
