Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (1-ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
Preparation:
Bring to a boil over medium heat; add unsweetened chocolate and peanut butter and remove from heat. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder and mix, then add 1 cup each semisweet chocolate, milk chocolate, and peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheets.
Bake 8-10 minutes until cookies are just set. Cool 2 minutes, then remove to racks to cool completely.
In small microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter. Melt on high 1 minute; remove and stir until smooth and blended. Frost cooled cookes. Yields 36 cookies
