Brownie Cookies

Brownie Cookies are rich, creamy, and full of chocolate. Frosted with a simple chocolate and peanut butter glaze, these will become your favorite.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (1-ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and water.

Bring to a boil over medium heat; add unsweetened chocolate and peanut butter and remove from heat. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Add flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder and mix, then add 1 cup each semisweet chocolate, milk chocolate, and peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheets.

Bake 8-10 minutes until cookies are just set. Cool 2 minutes, then remove to racks to cool completely.

In small microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter. Melt on high 1 minute; remove and stir until smooth and blended. Frost cooled cookes. Yields 36 cookies
