Total Time: 22 minutes
Yield: 24 cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 (15-ounce) box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 can ready to spread chocolate frosting
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
Preparation:
In large bowl, combine brownie mix, flour, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix with spoon until blended. Stir in milk chocolate chips. Cover dough and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or Silpat liners. Shape dough into 1-1/2" balls and place 3" apart on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 10-14 minutes or until cookies are just set; do not overbake. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets, then remove from sheets carefully with large spatula and cool on wire racks.
Frost cookies with chocolate frosting. Place white chocolate chips in small freezer bag; microwave on 30% power for 1 minute. Continue microwaving for 30 second intervals at 50% power until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Cut a small hole in the corner of one bag and pipe white chocolate over the chocolate frosting on the cookies. Using a toothpick, drag through the white chocolate to make designs, if desired. Let stand until set.
