Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 8 slices sourdough French bread
- 3 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1/4 cup shredded apple
- 1/2 cup mango chutney
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 2 cups thinly sliced roasted lamb
- 1/3 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
Preparation:
Spread one side of each bread slice with softened butter. Lay bread, buttered side up, on work surface.In small bowl combine apple, chutney, and pecans. Spread on all bread slices. Place lamb slices on half of the bread slices; sprinkle with a bit of the cheese. Top lamb and cheese with remaining bread slices, chutney side down. [p[]You can grill these sandwiches on a dual contact indoor grill if you'd like; cook for 3-4 minutes until brown and toasted. Makes 4 sandwiches
