Ingredients:
- 8 slices sourdough French bread
- 3 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1/4 cup shredded apple
- 1/2 cup mango chutney
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 2 cups thinly sliced roasted lamb
- 1/3 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
Preparation:
In small bowl combine apple, chutney, and pecans. Spread on all bread slices. Place lamb slices on half of the bread slices; sprinkle with a bit of the cheese. Top lamb and cheese with remaining bread slices, chutney side down. [p[]You can grill these sandwiches on a dual contact indoor grill if you'd like; cook for 3-4 minutes until brown and toasted. Makes 4 sandwiches
