From Apple Orchard Crumble to Beth's Vegetarian Borscht and North Indian Chili, these inventive recipes are delicious. Giada de Laurentis is one of my favorite presenters on the Food Network. Her recipes are all clear and easy to follow, and I love the words she chooses to describe the food. So I immediately snapped up her first cookbook; you should too! Rachael Ray is my other favorite presenter on the Food Network. Her breezy style and delicious easy recipes are a real winner. And her recipes WORK. Of course, I think Adam's Everything series is superb. And I love the crockpot. So this book is a real winner. You don't have to fear feeding large numbers of people anymore when you can use your slow cooker. I first heard about Mama Dip on Rachael Ray's Food Network show $40 a Day. She visited the famous restaurant and sampled true Southern down home cooking. Now you can make the recipes in your own kitchen! I love Woman's Day magazine. The advice is always excellent and timely, and the food section is really wonderful. Whether the theme is a traditional holiday or a new type of cuisine, the recipes all work and the twists on old favorites are always fun and inventive. So a cookbook of their recipes is a must on my list. These super quick recipes have the bonus of being kid-tested! As any mom knows, finding nutritious and easy recipes that your children will eat is not an easy task. This book will help. The subtitle of this book is The Best Recipes from the 25 Best Cookbooks of the Year. Food and Wine magazine editors compiled this list, and the recipes are simply spectacular. If you love books and cooking, this is the book for you. The idea is a list of some of the best books for book clubs along with recipes inspired by the books. It's fun reading and good eating.
