Spooky Face Cookies

By Linda Larsen, About.com

Store these cookies in an airtight container. The leftover tops make great pie crusts if you crush them and mix with some melted butter. This is a fantastic project for kids.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Cream filled chocolate sandwich cookies (with orange filling, if desired)
  • Decorator icing gel

Preparation:

Have a selection of chocolate filled cookies, white filled cookies, and orange filled cookies, along with different icing gel colors. Twist the cookies to remove one half and expose the filling. Using icing gel, make pumpkin faces on the orange filling, ghost faces on the white filling, and any kind of scary face on the chocolate filling.
