Any flavor of pie filling can be used in this super quick and elegant recipe. Or offer several kinds to your guests.

Ingredients:
- 1 package frozen puff pastry shells
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 (16-ounce) can apple pie filling
- whipped topping from a can
Preparation:
Remove the pastry shells from the package and place on cookie sheet. Combine sugar and cinnamon on a plate and dip the shells in this mixture. Return to cookie sheet and bake the pastry shells as directed on package. Remove to a wire rack and carefully cut out the puffed center; save for another use or discard.When the shells are almost done baking, place the pie filling in a medium saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring frequently, until filling is hot.
Place a pastry shell on a serving plate and spoon some hot pie filling into the center space. Top with whipped topping and serve. Serves 6
