Seafood in Patty Shells

Seafood in Patty Shells

Linda Larsen
In many parts of the world it's traditional to serve seafood at Christmas. But you don't have to spend hours in the kitchen preparing fish. Just make this elegant recipe that uses frozen seafood along with puff pastry shells. It's paired with some special green beans and an incredibly rich and gorgeous cake.

Seafood Christmas Menu

  • Spinach Balls
Serve this crisp and hot little appetizer with a dip made by combining mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
  • Seafood in Patty Shells
I adore this recipe; the light puff pastry is the perfect contrast to tender shrimp and crab.
  • Orange Cauliflower Salad
Cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables - I like keeping some raw florets on hand in the fridge for snacking. You can cook the cauliflower in this salad as directed, or leave it raw.
  • Special Green Beans
Two kinds of beans (but you can use just one if you'd like) combine with pine nuts, onion, and tarragon for a delicious side dish.
  • Milky Way Cake
Wow! What more can I say?
