This fabulous dip, from my Grandmother Clara and Aunt Carol Sue, is perfect for holiday parties.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Miracle Whip salad dressing
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 small onion, finely grated
- 1/2 pound real lump crab meat, picked over
- 1 (6 ounce) bottle chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 small onion, finely grated
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation:
In medium bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and 1 tablespoon lemon juice and beat well. Then add Miracle Whip, garlic salt, and 1/2 grated onion and mix well. Spread on seving plate and top with crab meat.In small bowl, combine chili sauce, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 onion, horseradish, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice and mix well. Pour over crab meat, cover, and refrigerate before serving.
