This is the menu I make when it's my turn to host Easter dinner. You can see a lot of the recipes in Traditional Easter Dinner, Step by Step.

Set the table using your best china and crystal, and be sure to decorate the place settings with flowers. I like to put a couple of flower buds in tiny vases at each place setting; in fact, you can use those vases as place cards. Open the windows if it's a nice day outside, and if it's cold and rainy (or snowy, which has been known to happen), build a fire in the fireplace.

Then enjoy the meal with family and friends. Happy Easter!

  • Sour Cream Pesto Dip
    This dip can be served with everything from crackers to crisp bread sticks to baby carrots, mushrooms, and celery. Put it in a pretty bowl on a platter to serve.
