Set the table using your best china and crystal, and be sure to decorate the place settings with flowers. I like to put a couple of flower buds in tiny vases at each place setting; in fact, you can use those vases as place cards. Open the windows if it's a nice day outside, and if it's cold and rainy (or snowy, which has been known to happen), build a fire in the fireplace.
