Five ingredient recipes are a fabulous way to reduce the time you spend in the kitchen. These quick and easy recipes have wonderful flavors and textures; all without meat! You, of course, can add more ingredients to any of these recipes. Vary the type of cheese or vegetables used, try different herbs or spices, and remember to write down your changes.

- Fried Pierogies with Butternut Squash
This incredible recipe is so good it's hard to believe there are only five ingredients. It's one of my all time favorites.
- Baked Eggs with Veggies
Frozen vegetable mixtures are a fabulous ingredient that takes the place of four, five, or six ingredients. They're already prepared and fresher than most fresh veggies! This easy recipe is delicious.
- Black Beans and Fusilli
This easy recipe has lots of flavor and color. Because you cook the pasta right in the skillet with the beans, it takes less time too.
- Calypso Eggs
Eggs cooked with cottage cheese and some veggies is a great way to start your morning. This recipe can be doubled.
- Chili Rice Casserole
If you love spicy food, cheese, and rice, this is the casserole for you! It's delicious served as a vegetarian entree, or can be topped with any simmered dish, such as Salsa Crockpot Chicken.
- Corn Waffles
Frozen corn adds great flavor and texture to corn muffin mix in this easy recipe. Serve with some salsa for a nice quick meal.
- Crockpot Marinara Sauce
Everyone should have a marinara sauce in their repertoire. I like this one because it uses tomato paste, which gives a depth of flavor to the sauce you just can't get with any other form of tomato.
- Crockpot Oatmeal
Cranberries and dates add flavor, color, and texture to this easy crockpot recipe.
- Onion Souffle
Start with canned soup as the creamy base for a souffle to get this four ingredient gem on the table in a hurry. You could use any type of canned soup you'd like; Fiesta Cheese would be a great choice.

In this easy recipe, you make a few small omelets, then layer them with salsa and veggies. It's beautiful and delicious!
- Egg Tacos
Scrambled Eggs cooked with cheese, sausage, and salsa are tucked into crisp taco shells. You may want to add some sour cream and guacamole to this great recipe.
