Yield: 2 cups frosting
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
In medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until combined. Add powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in ice cream topping, vanilla, and salt. Spread on cake, cupcakes, or cookies.
