The delicious sugared pecans that garnish this side green salad recipe can also be served as a snack.

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 8 servings

  • 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 heads red leaf lettuce, torn into pieces
  • 15 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup chopped celery

Pecan Mandarin Orange Green Salad Recipe, Member JaneElvrum

Placing only pecan halves and sugar in a pan on low/medium heat will not melt the sugar. Had to go locate another recipe to make the sugared pecans. The preparation listed green onions be added with the other items and there were no green onions in the Ingredients section. Other than that, the recipe was great and I enjoyed it very much. I will make the corrections to my printout and keep it for future meals.
