This wonderful sweet and sour salad dressing will be loved by everyone.
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 8 cups baby spinach leaves
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Preparation:
In jar with screw-top lid, combine oil, sugar, ketchup, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Shake well, then refrigerate for 1 hour. Shake again, and refrigerate while preparing salad.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Drizzle with enough dressing to coat; toss gently and serve immediately. Store any leftover dressing covered in the refrigerator. 8 servings
