Creamy Potatoes and Ham Casserole

Potatoes and ham are baked in a creamy cheesy sauce with green beans and onions for a great make ahead casserole recipe.

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen green beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Cheddar pasta sauce
  • 1 (20 ounce) package refrigerated potato wedges
  • 1-1/2 cups cubed ham
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Preparation:

In heavy skillet, cook onion in 1 tablespoon butter until tender. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients except for 3 tablespoons butter and bread crumbs; mix gently. Place in 2 quart baking dish. In small bowl, combine melted butter and bread crumbs and toss to coat. Sprinkle over casserole. Cover and chill for 8-24 hours.

When ready to bake, set oven to 350 degrees F and bake casserole, uncovered, for 1 hour and 20-30 minutes until casserole is hot and topping is golden brown. Serves 4
