Did you ever search for a four leaf clover when you were a child? If you did, then you believe (however seriously or not) in Irish lore. Finding one is supposed to bring good luck; they occur naturally in only one out of every 10,000 clover plants. And in that vein, St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. This holiday, along with Lent, signals the beginning of spring. Whether you celebrate the Wearing of the Green or not, it's still fun to try some Irish recipes at the end of winter for a nice change of pace.

These classic recipes are all delicious and easy to make. I've sprinkled in some crockpot recipes too, so you can come home to an Irish feast after a long day at work or school.

Set your table with a bit of green and enjoy these recipes.
