Seasoned Rice Mix

Make your own seasoned rice mix.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups uncooked long grain white rice
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. instant chicken or beef bouillon powder
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients, pour into tightly sealed container, and store up to 6 months.

In medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter to boil. Stir in 1 cup Seasoned Rice Mix, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork before serving. 3 servings
