Bistro Burgers

These deliciously savory burgers are made with crushed garlic croutons, onion, garlic, and tarragon. Yum.

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup garlic croutons, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. honey dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh tarragon OR 1 tsp. dried tarragon leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • English muffins
  • Tomatoes
  • Lettuce

Preparation:

Prepare and preheat two sided grill to high. In a large bowl combine crushed croutons, mustard, onions, garlic, tarragon, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. Add ground beef and mix gently until combined.

Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burgers, 3/4" thick. Spray burgers lightly on both sides with cooking spray or brush with olive oil. Grill burgers on a two sided grill for 6 to 8 minutes, until a thermometer reads 160 degrees and beef is throroughly cooked. For all other grills, cook meat for 14 to 16 minutes, turning over halfway through cooking time. Serve on toasted English muffins with tomatoes, lettuce, and spreads. 4 hamburgers
