Grilled Apple Cheese Sandwiches are a nice take-off on the classic grilled cheese sandwich.

Ingredients:
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 6 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 large slices Havarti cheese
Preparation:
In large saucepan, cook apple slices in butter until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes. Remove apples from pan with slotted spoon; leave butter in pan. Remove pan from heat.
Combine mayonnaise and mustard in small bowl. Spread on one side of each piece of bread. Make sandwiches with the cooked apple slices and the cheese. Assemble sandwiches. Put pan back over medium heat and cook sandwiches in the butter in pan, turning once, until bread is crisp and browned and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
