No one will miss the meat in these easy vegetarian hot sandwiches.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup lentils, sorted and rinsed
- 2 cups water
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 10 kaiser rolls, split and toasted
Preparation:
Sort over lentils and combine with water in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Place in 3-4 quart crockpot with remaining ingredients except for vinegar, mustard, and kaiser rolls. Cover and cook for 10-12 hours until thickened.
