Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 3 drops mint extract
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1-1/4 pounds ground turkey, light and dark meat
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- red lettuce leaves
Preparation:
In large bowl, combine 1/4 cup sour cream, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt, cumin, ginger, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper and mix well. Add turkey and mix gently. Form into 4 patties.
Cover and chill patties for 1 hour. Brush patties with olive oil and grill over medium coals for 10-12 minutes, turning once, until thoroughly cooked.
Serve with sour cream mint sauce and lettuce on toasted, buttered hamburger buns. 4 sandwiches
