Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (12 oz.) cans cooked chicken, drained
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 cup taco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
Preparation:
Cook onion and garlic in olive oil until tender. Flake chicken, and add to onion mixture with remaining ingredients. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Use for Shredded Chicken Tostadas, in a hot wrap sandwich, or as a topping for a taco salad.
