Waffle Wiches

Use any combination of meats, cheeses, and breads in this easy recipe. This is a fun way to use your waffle iron. If you don't have a waffle maker, you might as well get one that is also a grill!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. deli sliced Colby, Monterey Jack, or Provolone cheese
  • 1/4 lb. thinly sliced deli meats
  • 8 slices whole wheat or white sandwich bread

Preparation:

Spray a waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray and heat. Meanwhile, make sandwiches with cheese, deli meats and bread. Place 1 sandwich in the middle of the heated waffle iron. Bake for 2-3 minutes or until sandwich is golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining sandwiches. 4 sandwiches
