Impossible Cheeseburger Pie

Yum - the flavors of a cheeseburger are combined into an easy to serve and make impossible pie recipe. Serve with some fresh fruit and potato chips for a fun meal.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup baking mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 10" pie plate with nonstick baking spray containing flour and set aside.

In heavy skillet, cook ground beef with onions, garlic, green pepper, and mushrooms until beef is browned. Drain well, add salt and pepper, and pour into prepared pie plate.

In medium bowl, combine milk, eggs, baking mix, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese and beat until smooth. Pour over mixture in pie plate.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes, then top with Cheddar cheese. Return to oven and bake 5-8 minutes longer until cheese is melted and pie is set. Top with tomato slices and serve. Serves 6
