It's time for more $10 Meals! With the economy struggling and everyone trying to stick to a budget, beef is usually the first thing to be crossed off the grocery list. But you can eat beef on a budget.

Meatballs are a great way to stretch a pound of ground beef to serve four people generously, or even six or ten! You can buy frozen precooked meatballs for not a lot of money, which will save you even more time in the kitchen.

Enjoy this easy menu with your family, and pocket the savings.

  • Meatballs and Orzo
You can make Easy Meatballs instead of the frozen meatballs. Be sure to compare prices of the recipe ingredients versus the prepared product to see which is cheaper in your area. Cost for four servings: $6.04.
  • Roasted Asparagus
I found asparagus on sale for $2.69 a pound. Cost for four servings: $2.79. If you can't find asparagus at that price, substitute Simple Green Salad. Cost for four servings: $2.15.
  • Garlic Toast
This simple recipe can be made with just about any bread. It's a great way to use up leftovers, and the flavor and crunch are perfect partners with the rich main dish. Cost for four servings: $1.16.
