If you can't find smoked tuna slices, use the best canned white albacore tuna you can find.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. can smoked tuna slices in oil
- 2 cups lettuce, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin slices
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup garlic flavored croutons
- 1 avocado, peeled and diced
Preparation:
Drain tuna, reserving the oil for salad dressing. Divide lettuce onto two salad plates and spread tuna slices over lettuce. Top with red bell pepper slices.
Mix together the reserved oil, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle dressing over salad and top with croutons and avocado. Serves 2
