Tips to Make Mother's Day Easy
- Plan the menu or menus a couple of days in advance, then make up your shopping list from the menu.
- Check the pantry, fridge, and freezer to see what you need to buy.
- Then go shopping a couple of days ahead of time.
- Write down a plan: who is going to make the French Toast? Who is going to arrange the flowers in the vase? Who is going to vacuum the living room carpet? Who is going to pour the orange juice?
- Then assemble all your serving dishes and mark each with a post-it with the name of the dish (tell Mom not to peek!).
- When you're ready to cook, read through the recipe(s) and begin.
- And remember to clean up when you're finished eating; Mom shouldn't have to do the dishes on her special day.
No matter what you make, Mom will love it!
