Pasta Cabbage Salad

By Linda Larsen, About.com Guide

You could add some chopped cooked chicken or ham to this easy salad if you like. Look for new flavors of creamy refrigerated salad dressings in the produce area of your supermarket.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rotini pasta
  • 2 cups frozen baby peas
  • 3 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 2 medium carrots, shredded
  • 1-1/2 cups creamy roasted garlic salad dressing

Preparation:

In large pot of boiling water, cook rotini according to package directions. Place frozen peas in colander and drain rotini over the peas to thaw.

Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Add cooked and drained pasta and thawed peas and stir gently to coat. Chill for 2-3 hours before serving.
