Premade pizza crusts were one of the best inventions of the 20th century. All you need is some imagination and some leftovers, and you can create a gourmet pizza at home when you start with pizza crust.

A hot oven is one of the secrets to a great pizza; a pizza stone is another. Preheating the stone in the hot oven means the crust will be crisp and flaky, and the toppings will be perfectly heated and blended. If you don't have a stone, bake the pizza directly on the rack so the heat reaches it without a barrier.

Now go read Tips for Making the Best Pizza, then enjoy these recipes for quick and easy pizzas.

Start With Pizza Crust

  • Salmon Pizza
Vegetables, a creamy sauce, and savory salmon combine to make an elegant gourmet pizza that's fun to make.
  • Asparagus Pizza
Just four ingredients make this simple pizza that is very cheesy and very delicious. You could use any roasted vegetables you'd like to vary the recipe.
  • Mexican Pizza
This was one of the first recipes I created, and I love it to this day. There's so much topping you do need two pizza crusts. It's rich, creamy, crisp, and so satisfying.
  • Vegetable Supreme Pizza
Make sure you taste the deli salad befdore you buy it. The spices in the salad flavor the whole pizza.
  • Turkey Club Pizza
This excellent and easy pizza has all the flavors of a club sandwich in pizza form. Yum.
  • Caramelized Onion Focaccia
If you love onions, this is the pizza for you! Add any meat if you'd like, but I think this pizza is perfect on its own.
  • My Special Pizza
I adore this recipe that I developed when delivered pizzas just got too expensive. It has the best flavored sauce I've ever tasted!
  • Italian Bread Salad
And this isn't a pizza! The good chewy Boboli® crust is mixed with salad greens, vegetables, and salami to make a satisfying main dish salad.
  • Mini Roast Beef Pizzas
Leftover roast beef or deli roast beef tops these easy tiny pizzas. You could make one larger pizza instead, by using a larger crust. Baking time is the same.
  • Cold Ham Sandwich Pizza
One of the nicest things about the Boboli® brand is you can use the bread as-is, without baking it. Although you could bake this pizza - just add the lettuce and salad dressing after it's hot and bubbly.
  • Pepperoni Pizza
This five ingredient pizza is simply classic. You know the secret ingredient!
  • Smoked Salmon Pizza
Little Boboli® crusts make these individual pizzas fun to make and even more fun to eat. Let your family assemble their own!
  • BBQ Chicken Pizza
Barbecue sauce makes an easy and delicious sauce on any pizza; try it with pepperoni too!
  • Tuna Pizza
Again, if you'd like, go ahead and bake this pizza, about 8-10 minutes at 425 degrees F, until nice and hot. Yum!
  • Bacon Pizza
Wow, bacon, sour cream, garlic, onions, and cheese - what more could you want? Your kids will love this pizza.
  • Stir-Fry Pizza
This pizza could also be made with cubed chicken, ham, or with stir-fry vegetables for a vegetarian version.
  • Curried Pizza
Curry powder and peas are an unusual combination for pizza, but this exotic recipe is truly delicious.
