This super simple recipe for barbecued pork roast is so delicious. If you'd like you could add a chopped onion or two.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 9 hours

Total Time: 9 hours, 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 lb. boneless pork roast
  • 16 oz. bag baby carrots
  • 1/2 cup purchased barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Preparation:

Place pork and carrots in a 3-4 quart crockpot. Combine barbecue sauce, honey, salt and pepper in a small bowl and pour over ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or pork is thoroughly cooked. 6 servings

NOTE: Thank you for reviewing my recipe! I'd serve this meal with some hot cooked brown rice mixed with some chopped parsley or cilantro. A simple green salad with a blue cheese dressing would be a fabulous side dish. And have some ice cream for dessert - you've done enough work!

Delicious and Easy!, Guest Trisha

This was so easy and my whole family loved it! After the pork was finished cooking, I pulled it out of the crock-pot to shred and poured the sauce into a saucepan. I cooked it down about five minutes to thicken it up a bit. Then I poured the sauce over the meat in the crock-pot and mixed it all up. Pork roast is on sale this week at my grocery store so I'm going back today to stock up on a few to freeze so I can make this again. If it pleases a husband and three kids it's a keeper!
