Use your favorite salas in this super easy recipe. A hot salsa will make the chili spicier. If you like really hot food, add a chopped jalapeno pepper.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds boneless pork shoulder, cut into 1" pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 15-oz. can chunky tomato sauce
- 12-oz. jar thick and chunky salsa
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except green pepper in 3-5 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until pork is tender. Add bell pepper, increase heat to high, and cook for 15-20 minutes longer. 6 servings
