Crockpot Meatball Stew

This easy stew has a very complex flavor.

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Cook Time: 9 hours

Total Time: 9 hours, 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. frozen cooked meatballs
  • 9 oz. pkg. frozen peas
  • 3 (14 oz.) cans ready to serve beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen baby lima beans
  • 16 oz. bag baby carrots
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. red potatoes, cubed
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 15 oz. pkg. frozen corn
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Preparation:

Put all ingredients in a 4-6 quart crockpot (leave frozen foods frozen), cover, and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until stew is blended and all vegetables are tender. Serves 8

surprisingly delish, Guest oldbroad1950

a friend served those frozen premade meatballs and they were tasty so I thought ""what the heck"".....I found this recipe and am thrilled that I did. Now, don't get me wrong, on sunday I make my own meatballs but for a crock pot soup this is the one to try. Hearty and tasty. I left out the lima beans and stuck to the rest of the recipe. A+
